Under his leadership, Cooperfidi Italia has grown its active guarantee portfolio significantly while maintaining a disciplined risk profile.

Alessandra oversees all operational and administrative functions of the cooperative, ensuring that service delivery meets regulatory standards and member expectations. She joined Cooperfidi Italia after a decade in corporate banking, where she specialised in structured credit for mid-market companies. Her focus is on operational efficiency, digital transformation of member services, and staff development.

Head of Credit & Risk

Giovanni leads the credit assessment team and is responsible for the integrity of the guarantee portfolio. He has a background in quantitative risk modelling and spent eight years in the credit risk division of a major Italian commercial bank before joining the cooperative sector. His team's disciplined approach to underwriting has maintained consistently low default rates across the portfolio.

Silvia manages relationships with current and prospective members, working closely with businesses to identify the right guarantee solutions for their specific financing needs. She has extensive experience in the Italian SME sector and speaks to business associations, chambers of commerce, and professional orders about access-to-credit issues. Her approachable style and technical depth make her a trusted first point of contact for new members.
